Chapter 1

Traveling in the Tunnel of Light

(or The Wizard Revisits His Life)

As DanCavJon was absorbed into the tunnel of light,
He was unaware of the glorious sight...
He could not see the brilliance from within that abound outside,
Of the magnificent hues of color that varied to begin his most unusual ride...

Unknown to him was that the colors so bright,
Indicated that he was traveling at speeds faster than light...
He only had faith that this capsule of light that he was in,
Would be the conduit to take him to Choprak, to satisfy what his goal had been...

Being blind he also was unable to see the exotic colors that abound,
Hues that varied by the pitch of the whizzing of a crackling sound...
He could not notice as the sound became louder and higher pitched,
That the tones in the tunnel, from blue to purple, switched...

Then he started to have visions and unusual sensations,
That his life was being relived as he felt the recreations...
He sensed the sounds, the smells and touches of events he never saw,
Until suddenly his eye sight was unveiled before him to his total awe...

The years passed by, the most recent came first,
His ecstasy from seeing what he had lived made his heart want to burst...
He saw the departure from the castle at Fairr-Lea and his centurion celebration,
With his companions, Sir Aaron, Peterrod, Streakwater, he again felt that exhilaration...

Then he started to notice something rather miraculous,
He saw the wrinkles in his arms disappear, he thought how fabulous!...
Then the events passed by him from year to year,
Past 90 then 80 to his 75th, he remembered as he shed a tear...

He noticed that he was physically returning to the age he was reliving,
He became concerned if he returned all the way back to his baby beginning...
His 75th year was the time when he was saved by a beautiful young man,
He loved and revisited the moments, before him they quickly ran...

The entire scene rolled back to the day they first met,
It was one he often remembered, but a day that most recalled in horrible regret...
It was during a time when a disease was destroying the human race,
That the few who survived did so only by the true God's grace...
